Inspired by the mythology and culture of the Dogon, an ethnic indigenous group in Mali, Amma: Chronicles of Lost Stars is an Afrofantasy action-adventure role-playing game with a focus on story and exploration. The central character in the game is Aya, a teenage weaver from the village of Jûlaya who sees her destiny shift radically when she is chosen by God Nommo as the Guardian to prevent the destruction of the world. Amma: Chronicles of Lost Stars will feature a diverse set of locations, characters, demons, and bosses, with strategic, dynamic combat that fuses magic, martial arts, and melee weapons.
